SENIOR PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1 005 233 TO R1 518 616 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: FPR 33/24 ● CIVIC CENTRE
Requirements:
- A relevant B degree (Commerce, Legal, Engineering or other relevant to operations/directorate business area)
- Five (5) years’ relevant experience
- A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel
- Computer literacy in Microsoft applications
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP.
Key performance areas:
- Enable adherence to the organisation-wide approach to contract management,
as set out in the Contract Management Framework and other relevant City of Cape Town (City) policies and procedures
- Improvement of contract management maturity
- Standardisation contract management processes
- Conduct contract reviews and other centralised contract management functions such as gate reviews, contract management advice, centralised system-based activities, guarantee management
- Coordination of transversal contracts
- Facilitate internal and external audits
- Provide contract management training
- Improvement of individual competence in contract management through mentoring and other developmental interventions
- Ensure compliance to applicable policies, regulations and procedures.
