Introduction
CLIENT in the MINING INDUSTRY requires the services of a PLANNED MAINTENANCE OFFICER at their plant in the WEST RAND as soon as possible
CV'S SHOULD BE IN WORD FORMAT TOGETHER WITH ID, QUALIFICATIONS, DRIVER'S LICENSE AND LATEST PAYSLIP IN PDF FORMAT
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Appropriate Trade Certificate
- At least 5 years’ experience as an artisan and a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an engineering maintenance planner
- Advanced SAP Planned Maintenance or related Maintenance Management Systems Capability
- Certified in either Maintenance Management, Advanced Maintenance Planning, RCA’s, RCM’s and/or Maintenance Planning
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant’s suitability for employment
Key Competencies:
- Proven track record in safety leadership
- Proven interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
- Independent, proactive thinker and ability to schedule and deliver work within tight deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of Mining equipment
- Advanced computer literacy with Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP)
- Advanced proficiency in planned maintenance, associated data analytics, reporting and presentations
- Advanced understanding of planned maintenance interfaces with procurement, logistics and financial systems
- Natural collaborator and ability to work autonomously,
use initiative and independent problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
