Introduction
The Product Manager is responsible for product planning and implementation, including gathering and prioritizing company and customer requirements, defining the product roadmap and ensuring that products support the company's strategy and goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving and maintaining the company wide product roadmap.
- Responsible for the delivery of product implementation. End-to-end involvement from design and specification to launch.
- Responsible for the delivery of product implementation and changes through project management principles.
- Development and maintenance of policy documentation including terms and conditions.
- Custodian of all policy documentation and triggered client communications.
- Custodian of all product rules and policy document rules.
- Oversee technical development of all products.
- Staying abreast of competitor and customer activity and recommend improvement to products for the company to remain competitive.
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes required and managing product regulatory feedback and update to products.
- Liaise and negotiate with third party service providers for potential solutions.
- Leading the product team to successful delivery and encourage employee growth and performance excellence.
- Responsible for quality control of product related material.
- Ensure the effective day to day operation of the department by coordinating and enhancing workflow and operational procedures.
- Building and sustaining collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drafting and analysing monthly and quarterly board reports.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant commercial degree.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
- Insurance Product management experience preferable.
- Insurance experience preferable.
- Strong project management and business analysis skills.
