Introduction
Exciting new entrant into the SA retail space is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the complete warehouse operations in SA.Material/Inventory control and management.
- Stocking of inventory and ensuring stock accuracy.
- Ensuring timely processing and deliveries of stock.
- Statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Logistics management.
- Liasing and negotiating with customers and suppliers.
- Ensuring proper documentation and updating of records at the DC.
- Allocating and managing staff resources.
- Handling local government bodies and contractual employees.
- Managing all staff, permanent and contractual in the warehouse.
- Handling all local area issues related to the warehouse.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- At least 8 years experience in Purchase, Logistics,Warehouse Supply Chain,Inventory Management, Procurement Management.Understand and manage warehouse P&L.;
- Working alongside CFO/Head of Finance to operate within budget.
Package & Remuneration
Market related package offered.
Work from home until warehouse location finalized.
