Introduction

An exciting opportunity is opening at an Auditing Firm in Pretoria, they are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SAICA clerk to join the team. This is a great opportunity for individuals pursuing their Chartered Accountant qualification and looking to gain valuable practical experience in the accounting field.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

- Accounting Tasks: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, bookkeeping, and general ledger maintenance.
- Auditing Support: Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting of audits for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Tax Preparation:





Support the preparation of corporate and individual tax returns and assist in tax compliance activities.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on the progress of projects.
- Research: Conduct research on accounting regulations and industry standards to support audit and accounting activities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and accounting transactions.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and provide excellent service to clients.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements:

- Completed/In progress B.Com degree – SAICA / Accounting Field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English, pro-active and willing to take responsibility.
- Analytical with ability to work well under pressure.
- Diligent, deadline driven and focused.
- Administratively inclined and entrepreneurially minded.
- Good theoretical and technical background in Accounting, Auditing and Tax. Willing,





interested and able to continue technical growth to become an industry leader in any of these fields.
- Keen interest in Financial Year End duties such as preparing Annual Financial Statements for clients.
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport is essential.

Package & Remuneration

R10 000 - R12 500 Montly Cost to Company
