The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing roles :
- Communicative Languages : Northern Sotho
- Communicative Languages : Setswana
Job Purpose :
The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation / lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Minimum Qualification Requirements :
Ideal :
A B.Ed. Honour’s degree
Alternatively :
- An honour’s degree in the language to be lectured or another Humanities / Arts / Social Science Honour’s or Postgraduate Diploma (at NQF level 8)
- The undergraduate qualification must include the language to be lectured as a major (up to third-year level);
- A Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF level 8) with the language to be lectured as a didactic subject.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements :
- It would be preferable if the following additional competencies are fulfilled : Industry experience in commerce.
- Lecturing experience and work experience in the language to be lectured.
