The IIE Varsity College, Sandton Campus is seeking appointees in the field of Commerce to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the F aculty of Management Studies department for the following lecturing roles :
- Logistics Management 2A : Transport Economics
- Logistics Management 2B : Business Logistics
- Sustainable Supply Chain Management
- Logistics Management 3A : Warehouse Management
- Logistics Management 3B : Managing Logistics across the Supply Chain
- Procurement Management 2A : Procurement Analytics
- Procurement Management 2B : Strategic Sourcing
- Procurement Management 3A : Public Sector Procurement
- Procurement Management 3B : Public Sector Procurement
- Supply Chain Management 3B : Contemporary Issues in Supply Chain Management
Job Purpose :
The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation / lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.

Minimum Qualification Requirements :
Ideal :
Honours in Supply chain / logistics management; Business Management with a special focus in the following : Logistics;
Operations and Production Management; warehousing; Integrated Logistics and Transport Management.
Alternatively :
- Honours in one of the Supply chain / logistics management-related fields (e.g. purchasing, operations / production, inventory;
- sustainable management, warehousing) with supply chain management and Logistics to the third-year level;
- A Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration with Supply chain / logistics management or a similarly related field (e.
- g. purchasing, operations / production, inventory; sustainable management) to the third-year level PLUS either an MBA / MCom / MPhil;
- A Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements :
- Industry experience in commerce.
- Lecturing experience in supply chain and / or logistics management; and / or operations and production management / Transportation and warehousing management.
- Work experience as a supply chain manager or consultant / experience in logistics, warehousing, purchasing, production, and operations or inventory fields.
