Core Description
Responsible for complex SAP implementations and operational management including Business Solution Consulting, Pre-sales, Solution Management and Support, and supervision of staff when required. Oversee the strategic direction, thought leadership and operational management of SAP related initiatives within the organisation. Ensure alignment of SAP projects with business objectives, optimize SAP performance systems, drive innovation and best practices, and manage vendor relationships.
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
- Complete projects and deliver quality solutions to clients on time,
within budget and to agreed scope. Ensure projects and solution deliveries have the required documentation, testing plans, etc.
- Meet deliverable requirements/service level measures/specific targets.
- Drive and actively participate in designing and developing fit for purpose solutions for clients through obtaining and analysing business requirements and researching best practice (R&D;).
- Generate leads and identify opportunities to sell new solutions to clients and respond to RFP's.
- Ensure that all potential risks that may impact on the performance and success of the department are identified, escalated and mitigated.
- Create re-usable solutions, processes, or work products (technical/non-technical) that can save time, efforts and eliminate errors of self/others.
- Ensure personal billable hours meet agreed target ranges and timesheets are submitted.
- Ensure the documentation of new processes/activities, configuration, and storage on the knowledge management server.
- Act as an intermediary between SAP COE and the client for billing & financial management of COS& operational expenditure to achieve approved budget.

Minimum Qualifications
NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Information Technology or Business ManagementGrade 12 (NQF 4) and 7 years’ experience and SAP certification
Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage
Experience
5 years relevant experience in SAP.
The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector and preferably within a SAP Consulting environment. S/4 HANA experience preferred.
Or
7 years relevant experience in SAP. The experience must include relevant exposure to the ICT sector and preferably within a SAP Consulting environment. S4 HANA Experience is preferred
