Reference: JHB006476-Koki-1Datacentrix is looking for Cloud Sales Specialist who will be responsible for driving cloud solution to new customer accounts, focusing on expanding market reach and accelerating sales growth. The role involves setting up and maintaining a comprehensive customer database and skills matrix. The Sales Specialist must provide timely reporting, including weekly sales and customer call reports to their line manager, and submit detailed monthly or quarterly sales and executive analysis reports to partners or resellers. The position requires strategic planning, customer engagement, and effective communication to achieve sales targets. The Sales Specialist will play a key role in expanding the customer base,





promoting Datacentrix Cloud Service. Must have the ability to articulate the company’s Cloud strategy and align it with customer needs is crucial, as is crafting comprehensive proposals with pre-sales support. A strong technical background, especially in IT, along with an understanding of Cloud taxonomy, will be essential to succeed.
Qualification and Certification Required:

Matric Grade 12 (Compulsory)
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma: In a relevant field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Sales & Marketing.

Cloud Certification:

AWS Cloud Practitioner (or more advanced AWS certifications)
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (or more advanced Azure certifications)
Google Cloud Foundational Certification - Professional Cloud Architect

Sales Certifications:

Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

Additional Requirements:

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships






Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A self-motivated go-getter with a passion for technology and exceeding expectations

Relevant Experience Years of Work Experience

4+ years in IT or technology sales with at least 2-3 years focused on cloud solutions.
Familiarity with different cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Datacentrix Cloud).
Good understanding of cloud architecture, deployment models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and related technologies.
Experience with managing client relationships and closing deals on cloud products.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:







Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new cloud and network customers
Identify and qualify leads, transforming them into loyal customers
Deliver compelling sales presentations that showcase the value proposition of our cloud, network and infrastructure solutions
Partner with technical teams to understand customer needs and craft tailored cloud solutions
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a win-win outcome for both our company and the client
Manage existing client relationships, fostering trust and driving upsell and renewal opportunities
Develop a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and cloud industry trends
Contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads
