Minimum Requirements
• B Degree (NQF 7 as recognised by SAQA) in Economics/ Finance/ Business Administration/ Public Policy;
• 5 years senior management experience;
• A valid unendorsed driver's license, or alternative mode of transport for people with disabilities; and
• The successful completion of the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme (see paragraph 4 in notes below).
Competencies
Human Resource Management, Public Finance Management Act, Municipal Finance Management Act, National Treasury Regulations and Provincial Treasury Instructions;
Financial Management processes;
Excellent communication skills;
Excellent planning, organizing and people management skills;
Strategic capability and leadership skills; and
The ability to multitask, deal with ambiguity and manage under rapidly and changing and pressurized circumstances.
