Job Summary: Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the entire restaurant team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
- Customer Experience:
Uphold high standards of service, ensuring that patrons receive an exceptional dining experience that exceeds their expectations.
- Financial Management: Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue generation to achieve profitability targets.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and motivated team.
Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and implement growth plans.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the quality and consistency of food, beverages, and overall presentation, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe and clean environment for both employees and customers.
- Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Vendor and Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Problem Solving: Address challenges and issues that arise promptly, finding effective solutions to maintain operational flow.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on financial performance, operational achievements, and areas for improvement for presentation to the executive team.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong track record of success in managing busy restaurant operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and staff.
- Solid financial acumen and experience in managing budgets, cost control, and revenue optimization.
- Exceptional leadership abilities,
with a focus on staff development and team building.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Impeccable presentation and professionalism.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
