**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with the coordination and management of group bookings, conferences, and events from start to finish.
- Collaborate with the sales, front office, and F&B; teams to ensure smooth execution of all group and event requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs.
- Prepare and manage event documentation, including proposals, contracts, and function sheets.
- Oversee event logistics, such as room setups, equipment requirements, and catering needs.
- Monitor event budgets, ensuring cost control without compromising quality.
- Support the sales process by providing accurate and timely information to prospective clients.
- Ensure that all guests and attendees receive exceptional service throughout their stay or event.
- Handle any issues that arise during group stays or events, resolving them promptly and professionally.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future operations.
**Requirements**:
- SA citizen.
- Recent experience in events management in a 4/5* hotel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with hotel management software (e.g., Opera) is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest service and creating memorable experiences.
