A global award winning client in the automotive industry seeks for a Front End Developer (Advanced) to join their team.
- Software Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for both frontend and backend components.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Angular, BMW density framework, and relevant programming languages (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Golang and Java).
- Implement best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and consistency.
- AWS Integration:
- Leverage AWS services to architect, deploy, and scale applications.
- Optimize application performance and cost-effectiveness through AWS resource management and monitoring.
- Implement security best practices for AWS services and infrastructure.
- Frontend Development:
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business users to create visually appealing and user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular and the BMW density framework.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of frontend components.
- Implement and maintain frontend performance optimizations.
- Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and APIs according to best practices and OpenAPI specifications.
- Work with NoSQL database to manage data storage and retrieval efficiently.
- Implement/maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD):
- Set up, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Automate deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable releases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Version Control:
- Manage and collaborate on code repositories using GitHub.
- Enforce version control best practices and code branching strategies within the development team.
- Resolve merge conflicts and maintain a clean commit history.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and address software defects and bugs.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, API documentation, and code comments.
- Ensure knowledge sharing within the team by documenting best practices and guidelines.
- Ensure user manuals are updated for business users to effectively navigate through the provided services.
- BSc Computer Science or related qualification.
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Angular
- TypeScript
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Strong emphasis on API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Lambda, Networking, EC2, StepFunctions, S3 and IAM)
- Python
- Git
- GitHub Actions
- Terraform (IaC)
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
