Well established civils company based in East London are seeking an experienced applicant to join their dynamic team
Responsibilities:
1. Workshop Maintenance:
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop and yard areas.
- Regularly clean tools, equipment, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Tool Repair and Servicing:
- Perform repairs and servicing on pneumatic air tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on workshop equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities.
- General Assistance:
- Assist with various tasks as directed by the employer to support the overall operations of the business.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines in the workshop.
- Additional Duties:
- Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge related to workshop practices.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification advantageous
- Previous experience in a workshop or maintenance role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic air tools and general repair techniques.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions typical of a workshop setting.
Salary:
- negotiable based on experience
