PURPOSE:
Custodian of Civil Engineering for feasibility studies and ensure discipline engineering standards and specifications are defined and maintained throughout study developmentResponsible for all technical and engineering aspects related to design through project lifecycle to ensure optimum performance to business requirements, organisational objectives, and sound engineering practice.Act as an interface between project team and operational teams.To deliver technical solutions that comply to design process requirementsLead design reviews/audits to ensure that designs are in accordance with project lifecycle requirements and produced in a timely and cost- effective mannerMAJOR CHALLENGES:

ensuring compliance with all applicable SHEC policies andprocedures in line with set standardsEncourage a culture that focuses on safety in all operations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: BEng Civil Engineering ( Essential/Minimum or )BSc Civil Engineering ( Essential/Minimum or )B Tech Civil Engineering ( Essential/Minimum )Management Development Programme ( Recommended/Desirable )6 years Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to lead technical aspects of design
