The candidate will provide administrative support and report to Communications Lead

Point of contact between Communications Lead and the Client.

Manage information flow from Comms department, in a timely and accurate manner.

Create and maintain OneDrive Comms, daily.

Assist with collation, and distribution of the Fresh Thymes Magazine.

Liaise with suppliers and third parties to set up meetings and follow up to ensure timeous delivery.

Event planning and implementation.

Administrative assistance with promotions and events.

Assist with collection of information and visuals for Social Media.

Maintain and update all Corporate brand elements such as the Brand Guide.

Responsible for organizing the storeroom and allocation of stock,





with the support of the Exec Office Receptionist.

Compile databases such as those provided by third parties from events as well as internal events.

Conduct research for Comms, as and when required.

Perform adhoc related duties, as and when required.

Track daily expenses and assist with preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and Board reports.

Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports.

Compile minutes of internal/external meetings and distribute accordingly.

Prepare Contact Report post meetings and track next steps to follow post meetings.

Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence, as required.

Organise and maintain the Comms office filing system.

Manage travel arrangements for Comms.

Update and maintain Media Lists, as and when required.

Supervise Media liaison, as and when required.

Editorial Evaluations.

Assist with on and off-site events, meetings, conferences, board meetings, as and when required.







Grade 12 / Matric.

Min 3+ years' experience in a similar role is required.

Secretarial, Business Administration or Office Administration qualification required.

Advanced knowledge of standard software packages ie. Microsoft Office Suite.

Deadline driven and team orientated individual.

Excellent organizational, administrative and planning skills required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English) is required.

Self-starter with creative ability.







Ability to be proactive and take initiative.

Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Own Transport is essential
