Ensuring compliance with all policy stipulations and QA requirements pertaining to the administration of Short Courses.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience

- National Diploma in Management or related field.
- Five years in an administrative environment within a tertiary institution. Above-average knowledge and competencies in ITS and HEMIS systems.

Recommendation:
- BTech in Management or related field
- Experience in the Administration of short courses within a tertiary institution

Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities

- Monitor compliance with the SOPs in the Policy on Short Courses and related policies






- Support short courses offering entities to resolve administrative problems and address areas of non-compliance.
- Manage the generation and security of the short course certification process.
- Act as office manager in the absence of the Director.

Competencies

- Interpersonal skills to liaise with and obtain the cooperation of colleagues in short course offering entities
- Communication skills to interpret the challenges faced by short course offering entities and to convey actions required to address those challenges.
- Organizational skills to keep multiple interventions to monitor and support short course offering entities on track
- Technological skills and experience in the use of ITS and related CPUT systems to resolve administrative problems pertaining to short courses.
- Analytical skills to diagnose causes of administrative problems being experienced.
- Managerial skills to manage the CPPD offices in the absence of the Director.
