Our client, a well-established technology company, who is at the forefront of providing world class payment aggregation and secure payment solutions, is looking for an Business Development Lead to join their growing team.The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for step growth in transaction volumes through servicing existing billers effectively, and through the onboarding of new high volume potential billers. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive self-starter ,with the ability to switch between high level strategy and detailed work Furthermore the candidate is disciplined and tenacious,
seeing opportunities through to completion.Role responsibilitiesGrowing transaction volumes through servicing current billers under managementSourcing & onboarding of new high-volume billersGrow transaction volumes through retailer and digital payment networksEstablish a truster advisor relationship with key (existing and prospect) biller stakeholdersIdentify and develop strategic partnership – banks, referral partners, etc.Explore innovative new solutions and strategic opportunities across the business.Act as key interface between billers / prospects and internal departmentsIn conjunction with Marketing manager, maintain marketing presence at billers and payment networksLiaise internally to ensure operations pertaining to billers run smoothlyTrack and report key business opportunities, sales analysis and forecasts, solutions and query managementEssential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience:Relevant tertiary qualification.5-8 Years similar experience in the payments / financial industry,
