What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
As the Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of bespoke solar solutions for large-scale projects. You'll conduct site visits to assess project needs,
create detailed engineering plans, and ensure every design meets the highest industry standards. Working closely with the project engineer, manager, and procurement team, you'll ensure that everything runs smoothly from concept to implementation. You'll also take charge of vetting new technologies, ensuring that your designs are always at the forefront of innovation and optimized for performance.

What you'll need

You'll need to be proficient in design software like AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and have a deep understanding of both local and international engineering standards. Strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a collaborative approach are key for this position. Additionally, being fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans is essential for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
