This is a remote position.
The Fundraiser will focus exclusively on securing financial support for the programs and operations. The primary responsibilities include researching and identifying potential funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, maintaining donor relationships, and managing fundraising campaigns and events. This role will collaborate with the Program Coordinator to ensure funding aligns with program needs but will primarily focus on securing financial resources for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Fundraising Strategies: Focus on creating and executing a fundraising plan aimed at securing individual donations, corporate sponsorships, grants,
and in-kind contributions.
Grant Proposal Writing: Identify grant opportunities and lead the writing of proposals to secure funding from foundations, government programs, and private organizations.
Corporate and Individual Donor Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring a personalized and professional approach to donor stewardship.
Event Planning Support: Work alongside the Program Coordinator to plan and execute fundraising events. Lead on securing sponsorships and donations for these events.
Fundraising Campaigns: Plan and implement online and offline campaigns to raise awareness and attract donors.
RequirementsGrade 12
Previous Fundraiser experience required
Valid Driver's license and own transport
Occasional travel to Addo required
Must reside in the Eastern Cape
Desired Skills:
- Grade 12
- Valid license and transport
- Min 2 yrs exp
Desired Qualification Level:
- Grade 12 / Matric
