Portfolio Manager: Administration

What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with the following experience, qualifications and /or skillsets:
- Marketing related qualification or project management qualification
Advantageous
- Sales related and/or teaching (education) qualification (advantage)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role
- Sales and Marketing Experience in the Education Sector
The responsibilities are:
Project Management
- Develop project plans and oversee the implementation of the projects within the portfolio
- Ensure marketing projects within the portfolio are in line with specific event requirements
- Ensure that all events/projects remain within budget
- Provide feedback to applicable stakeholders
Marketing strategy integration with national objectives (Marketing)
- Ensure marketing strategies are in line with organisational, specific model and marketing objectives
- Ensure all marketing strategies and activities remain customer centric
Marketing budget managed (Marketing)
- Compile and manage the marketing budget within the portfolio and within the guidelines.
Reporting
- Provide data analysis for and regular reporting to the Executive:
Corporate services for deliverables within the portfolio.
Materials (publications) deployed (marketing)
- Ensure that all materials are in line with overall marketing strategy
- Ensure that any new materials for schools are packaged and deployed in line with strategy
- Maintain and ensure a consistent approach
- Overall responsible to ensure that information is used correctly and accurately
Brand and corporate identity management (Marketing)
- Always be a brand ambassador
- Ensure the correct use of CI as per guidelines issued from marketing and brand managers
- Ensure brand audits are conducted in line with specification and standards with effective remedial actions ensuring consistent approach throughout the portfolio.
Co-ordinate Promotional events (Marketing)
- Ensure that events within the portfolio are executed to standards, within budget and effectiveness is maintained in line with strategy and project plans/s
- Ensure that feedback is provided on the effectiveness of the event and the respective ROI for reporting purposes and data analysis where applicable.
Brand and School social media presence monitored and managed (Social Media)
- Ensure social media activities within the portfolio are in line with brand and marketing plans and within required standards.
- Ensure the consistent applications of standards applied across the portfolio and in line with brand and corporate Identity.
Manage online presence (Social Media)
- Monitor all social media for assigned Curro models
- Ensure website maintained and updated in line with agreed communications strategy
Staff training and development (People management)
- Ensure that orientation, on the job training and coaching is provided to the staff within the portfolio
- Performance management of staff within the portfolio
Staff management
- Assign tasks and responsibilities
- Oversee work carried out
- Manage performance and deliverables
Stakeholder management (People management)
- Establish and maintain effective internal communication on brand and school level
- Communicate actions and address parents’ needs and requirements when required
- Maintain strong focus on client liaison and customer care
- Build and maintain relationships with business managers, executive heads,
and other applicable stakeholders
Conduct and report on market research (Sales)
- Conduct research in accordance / In line with overall standards and strategy
- Generate reports/statistics timeously within deadlines as required
- Conducted surveys as required (service excellence and employee satisfaction)
The successful candidate will start on 01 January 2025.
