Our client is looking for a talented, vibrant, and highly motivated Customer Sales Consultant to represent their company as a brand ambassador. This role requires a dedicated individual who can manage customer relationships, provide sales services, and contribute to the company's success in the metal industry.
Responsibilities:
- Service existing customers according to predetermined schedules.
- Manage key accounts and develop the sales territory, including Umbilo, Jacob’s, and Isipingo.
- Regularly update customer information in line with company requirements.
- Achieve sales targets and deliver on sales reports.
- Actively seek new customers through networking and cold calls.
- Maintain credit control by managing payment collections from customers.
Key Skills:
- Proven sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a relevant industry.
- Knowledge of the metal industry will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English (Afrikaans is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage accounts and build long-lasting client relationships.
- Experience in key account management is beneficial.
- Clear criminal and credit history.
- Must reside within Durban City or a 20 km radius.
- South African citizen.
Qualifications:
- Matric (or equivalent).
- A valid driver’s license with no endorsements.
