The ICT Infrastructure Manager is a technical leadership role focused on managing the company's infrastructure and other operating systems across all sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge of IT systems, familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and cloud best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the design, planning, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Infrastructure landscape and operational management systems.
• Overseeing a technical team comprising onsite, offsite, and third-party resources, including data centers.
• Being hands-on in design and implementation of complex technical activities and addressing ICT infrastructure issues.
• Managing disaster recovery plans and testing for ICT infrastructure systems.
• Ensuring effective monitoring and optimization of hardware, environment, cloud (Public, Hybrid and Private) and peripheral systems.
• Demonstrating expertise in designing complex ICT systems, infrastructure sizing, and landscape optimization.
• Creating and maintaining technical roadmaps for IT systems and infrastructure.
• SAP is the ERP system within Ingain and its important to understand that it's a critical part of the above mentioned infrasturture.
Key Performance Areas: Core Activities & Accountabilities
Planning and business liason
• Engaging with business steering committees and subject experts on the options and, processes involved with maintaining optimum performance of the ICT Infrastructure
• Interrogating and evaluating the scope and methodology of the roll-out of critical interventions in relation to improving the ICT infrastructure and its capabilities.
• Analysing challenges and constraints impacting on the critical performance, timelines and efficiencies and intervening, adjusting and realigning key performance areas, milestones and outcomes
Server Hardware Management
• Engaging with business steering committees and subject experts on the options and, processes involved with maintaining optimum performance of the ICT Infrastructure
• Interrogating and evaluating the scope and methodology of the roll-out of critical interventions in relation to improving the ICT infrastructure and its capabilities.

“Technical” Software
• Manage the implementation and monitoring performance of operating systems for all servers and applications.
• Monitoring the performance of the e mail server and oversee the implementation of the management software.
• Oversee the implementation of the Backup Software for all server types.
Server Based Printing
• Manage development and implementation of the configuration and standards to support the server based printing.
• Monitoring performance and referring to ICT Infrastructure benchmarks and best practice to evaluate opportunities to improve the business results and efficiencies.
Asset Management
• Manage the process of ensuring all server hardware purchases are compliant with policy
Data Governance
• Serves as the critical contact point for the dissemination of information to internal/ external contacts.
• Oversees and manages the process of building analytics to support business strategies.
• Provides critical advice on approaches that would contribute to improving the customer satisfaction and profitability.
Content & Document Management
• Setting up of standard work procedures/ guidelines for users/ third parties requiring to conform to specific procedures on IT Systems.
• Maintaining procedure documents to be current and relevant.
• Maintaining ICT Audit document requirements e.g. Warranty details
Communication
• Serving on various committees and working groups and providing high level input on the status and interventions focused on maintaining acceptable levels of services to the areas of business.
• Engaging across a broad spectrum of contacts, i.e. professional, middle and senior management on the financial, technical and business solutions and approaches to support the availability of capable, reliable and dependable ICT Infrastructure across all countries and sites.
Management Reports
• Gaining an understanding of the reporting scope, requirements and timelines and, prioritizing, interrogating, and selecting information.
• Evaluating complex sets of data and qualitative information, that is, references, commentaries, explanations and, conclusions for inclusion.
• Drafting reports, logically arranging and presenting graphical and,
quantitative and qualitative information on the subject and, formulating opinions and recommendations
Qualifications
• Degree/Tertiary ICT related qualification.
• Recognised relevant industry specific certification (MCSE, Server Operating Systems- Microsoft, SAP, etc.)

- 8 Years IT Delivery experience required
- 5 – 7 years Project Management Experience required
