Vacancy for an Assistant Accountant with a BCom Degree and SAICA-Qualified
Cape Town: Our client, a leading fruit supply company committed to delivering nutritious, high-quality products, is seeking to employ a SAICA-Qualified Assistant Accountant with a BCom Degree to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the CEO's right-hand finance person. If you are passionate about finance and excited to grow within South Africa's food industry, this is the opportunity for you.
Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Completed SAICA articles
- At least 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the agricultural or FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with financial reporting, tax submissions, and auditing processes
- Proficiency in accounting software with excellent computer skills and ADVANCED Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of work ethics
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Full support to the Chief Executive Officer
- Banking
- Stock Management
- Financial reporting
