Dynamic and results-driven Finance Manager, with a background in insurance with an excellent understanding of insurance principles and reporting. The Finance Manager will also be adept at regulatory and tax compliance, and driving strategic financial initiatives. Should be ready to dive deep into the day-to-day details and be comfortable adding value in all parts the finance team. Proven track record of optimising financial performance and enhancing operational efficiency
• Budgeting, including collaboration with senior leadership by providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Fiscal management and reporting, including tracking and analysing month-end results and reporting to the business and group.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting processes and expense management.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure timely resolution of audit queries.
• Preparation of taxation calculations and submission of associated returns.
• Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Completion of all applicable Insurance Regulatory and Statutory returns.
• Monthly reporting incorporating all Insurance Operations to ensure financial position accurately recorded and reported.

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or related field - CA (SA) and CIMA qualification preferred
• Strong practical skills across all Mirosoft suite of products
• Solid understanding of financial management and up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in financial role, preferably within a dynamic and growth focused organisation.
• Insurance and financial services experience preferred
• Good understanding of Insurance principles and applicable Insurance Laws and Legislation governing the Industry
