The Business Development Coordinator will provide critical support to the Business Development (BD) management team, facilitating smooth operations across the department. This role focuses on coordinating sales activities, monitoring performance, and optimizing sales strategies to drive growth. The Business Development Coordinator will assist in scheduling, reporting, and managing the department's sales tools and resources.
Sales Coordination
•Coordinate daily sales operations, ensuring the smooth flow of information and tasks between the Business Development team and other departments.
•Maintain and manage sales presentation materials, including brochures, slides, and other marketing assets to support the team.
•Assist in the scheduling and coordination of sales meetings, training programs, and events.
Reporting & Analysis
•Prepare and present monthly performance reports, including broker and paypoint data, analyzing sales trends to provide actionable insights.
•Track and monitor individual sales team members' targets and KPIs, offering updates to the BD leadership.
•Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to prepare detailed sales performance dashboards.
Training & Development
•Coordinate training programs and workshops for the sales team, managing schedules and ensuring training objectives are met.
•Work closely with the BD management team to identify training needs and implement skills enhancement initiatives.
Sales Strategy Support
•Assist in developing and executing sales strategies by working closely with BD managers.
•Monitor market trends and competitors, providing insights to support strategic planning.
Cross-functional Collaboration
•Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, operations) to align sales efforts and improve operational efficiency.
•Support the BD management team in optimizing sales tactics by gathering feedback from sales staff and stakeholders.
Skills:
•We are in need of a person that has excellent organising skills, excellent in Presentations and able to do reporting.
•We are looking for Super Women or Super Man.
Competencies:
•Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate coordination across teams.
•Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently
•Problem-solving abilities to quickly address operational or logistical issues within the BD function.
•High attention to detail in managing sales data, presentations, and coordination tasks.
•Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales or coordination role.
•Experience in the medical aid or healthcare insurance industry is a plus.
•Strong proficiency in data analysis and presentation creation.
•Strong proficiency in MS Office.
R22 000 - R30 000 CTC pm depending on experience.
