A modern provider of education and training who specialises in online learning is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team
- Strategic and operational planning of the corporate sales and service practices, processes, systems, and resources
- Managing and leading the corporate sales team
- Meeting the corporate sales target (both individually and as a team)
- Implementing best practise trends in corporate marketing and sales
- Driving corporate marketing through professional platforms and relevant content
- Developing and implementing best practice strategic and operational / tactical plans for corporate marketing, sales, and services
- Conduct sales meetings with clients
- Meet, or exceed,
the individual corporate sales target which is set annually
- Ensure the team meets, or exceeds, the group corporate sales target, which is set annually
- Managing and leading the corporate sales team and as needed, outsourced business support processes, including the entire the company ranges of products and services
- Monitoring Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Government (B2G) sales practices / performance and implementing a culture that is goal-oriented and focused on continuous improvement
- Regularly reviewing corporate marketing and sales practices, processes, and system
- Introduce effective and efficient solutions that enhance overall business performance
- Constantly identifying significant opportunities and risks related to the sales and marketing function and, where appropriate, develop and implement solutions that align with the Company's business objectives
- Any other reasonable requests from management such as assisting with Key Account Management duties
- National Senior Certificate
- Relevant NQF 8 qualification
- 2 years' sales management experience
- 5 years of sales experience with proven successful sales track record
- Business to Business (B2B) marketing strategy, planning and execution
- Corporate new business development and key account management sales skills
- Customer service practices
- Leadership and management skills
- Problem solving and decision making
- Client Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Attaining annual and quarterly-set corporate sales targets
- Good knowledge of the SA Post-School Education and Training PSET system would be advantageous.
- Financial sector experience
- High level of digital competency
- Excellent business communication (both verbal and written)
- Strong business numeracy capability.
