Position Summary
The Recruiter primarily makes outbound calls to potential candidates, sources candidates, and attends job fairs. Recruiters are problem solvers with good negotiation skills who are self-driven and motivated to meet individual and team goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Create Requisition on DayForce for new openings
Ensure all jobs are posted in compliance with company guidelines
Source candidates using various job boards and social networking platforms
Participate in community engagement activities to attract candidates
Prescreen candidates
Screen candidates before conducting 1st interviews
If a candidate has employment history with ACT, review Rehire Policy
Conduct 1st interviews
Review attendance policy and send any day off requests to operations for approval via email
Conduct reference checks
Communicate with appropriate Hiring Manager/Trainer regarding new classes
Update Recruiting Dashboard
Conduct post-offering screenings, ensuring that all new candidates complete Drug & Alcohol tests (if applicable) and background screenings
Participate in daily meetings to provide reports of progress
Maintain a spreadsheet with class information, candidates hired, and rejected candidates
Minimum Qualifications
Previous experience in recruiting and interviews is a must
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
Data entry and basic computer skills
Education: High School diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R20000,00 per month
