Reporting to the Financial Manager, you will ensure accurate financial statements, support audits, and contribute to strategic financial planning.

Lead the preparation of financial results (monthly, biannual, and annual statements)
Ensure compliance with IFRS and insurance regulations
Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and intercompany transactions
Support internal controls and month-end reconciliations
Handle VAT calculations and ensure tax compliance
Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Drive process improvement and system enhancement projects
Perform detailed financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications:
Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Accounting
BCom Honours / CTA
CA(SA)
Experience:
Completed SAICA Articles
Minimum 3 years of financial accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the insurance sectorStrong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory requirements
