• Professional Structural Engineer (B.Eng. or BSc) with experience in structural design registered with ECSA (PR Eng.)
• 7 years’ + as a Structural Engineer within a consulting environment focussing on Industrial, Commercial and mining projects
• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Collaborator and must work well within a project team
• Using of relevant computer software
• Consulting with clients and other consultants
• Supervising construction projects
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Mentoring junior engineers and technicians
• Make sure all documentation issued conform with the ISO 9001 – Quality standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Open communication approach with colleagues
• Good organizational skills
• Structured approach to problem solving and self-management
• Showing initiative in challenging and unclear circumstances
• Computer literate, proficiency in typical office software applications
• Driver’s license and own transport essential
