Leverage Tax and Accounting Services is a dynamic and growing tax and accounting services firm dedicated to providing personalized and expert financial advice to businesses and

individuals.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated **Tax Consultant **to join our team on a 5- month contract.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, assisting clients with tax planning, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, and compliance with local tax regulations like SARS.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities for tax efficiency.






- Assist with tax audits and liaise with SARS on behalf of clients.
- Support clients in the preparation of provisional tax returns and filing of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory returns.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to tax submissions
- Collaborate with accounting and financial teams to ensure seamless integration of tax compliance with overall financial reporting.
- Provide support to clients on tax-related matters, answering queries, and offering guidance on best practices.
- Help resolve tax disputes, including responding to notices or assessments.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a tax consulting or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements in South Africa.
- Experience with corporate tax, individual tax, VAT, and PAYE.
- Proficiency in E-filing and accounting systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.






- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Having a Tax Practitioner License would be advantageous.
- Experience in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From R12 000,00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bryanston, Gauteng 2191: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Taxation, or Accounting: 2 years (required)
