Our client, a leading property management and real estate firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions in the property industry are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join their finance team as an Accountant.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of monthly statements and reports.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
- Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (BCom Accounting)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding and experience with MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy working environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance and / or the property industry is a plus.
