Job Description
We are looking for a Wifi Technician that has experience with router installations and maintenance. You would be required have a motorcycle licence and live in or near Johannesburg Metropolitan Area.
Job Purpose
- Responsible for maintaining and managing in-field equipment, uptime, and relevant repairs.
- Investigation of router issues, re-provisioning and feedback to head office on findings.
- Router installation projects required to expand the companys network across all relevant areas and regions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The performance of maintenance processes on all relevant equipment and hardware systems.
- The troubleshooting and consolidation of meaningful data that is useful in refining pre-existing maintenance and monitoring methods.
- The development and testing of preventive maintenance methodologies and schedules.
- Assist with the training and upskilling of maintenance teams and individuals in performing routine repairs.
- Assist with the installation of the router network, as and when required.
Key Performance Areas
- Complete maintenance assignments within the desired MTTR (mean-time-to-repair).
- Cite and report back on equipment issues as and when discovered.
- The methodical completion of maintenance checklists following the resolution of maintenance assignments.
- The systematic completion of all Quickbase / software requirements within the scope of a Technicians role.
