Successful applicants will be awarded a 12-month Limited Duration Contract with our client with the possibility of permanent employment. Training for engineers will be aligned with the requirements of ECSA for professional registration after 3 to 5 years but such registration will remain the responsibility of the trainee.
Scope
All functions, duties, and responsibilities of the Trainee Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
Duties:
• Assessing project/task requirements
• Measuring the performance of mechanical or electrical components and devices
• Liaising with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers regarding technical issues
• Undertaking relevant research
• Presenting designs/ideas to managers and clients
• Testing, evaluating, modifying, and re·testing products.
• Writing monthly progress reports, manuals, and other relevant documentation • Analyzing and interpreting complex data
• Formulating and presenting internal technical courses
• Production functions given by mentor or assignee.
SHERQ MANAGEMENT (1SO9001, 1SO14001, FSO 45001
• Responsible for adhering to the requirements of the abovementioned systems as directed by the SHEQ Management System (which includes relevant legislation, Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, specifications, etc.)
• Ensure that Quality Assurance is confirmed, especially in the area of documentation control.
• Ensures conformance with all standards for Safety, Environmental, Work Procedures, and Quality
• Implement methods and procedures for disposal of non-compliant material and defective or damaged parts and assess cost and responsibility.
Requirements:
• BSc / BEng degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
