Our client - who is a pioneer within the renewable sector - is seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal Project Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing legal projects, coordinating documentation, supporting project managers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of legal procedures, enabling them to support our legal team effectively and contribute to project success.
- Document Management: Organize, file, and maintain legal documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date.
- Case Research: Conduct legal research to support ongoing projects and provide relevant information to attorneys.
- Drafting Legal Documents: Assist in drafting contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents under the supervision of attorneys.
- Project Coordination: Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables for legal projects, ensuring that all parties are aligned.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, facilitating communication and providing updates on project status.
- Reviewing Legal Documents: Assist in reviewing contracts and agreements for compliance and accuracy.
- Billing and Invoicing: Track billable hours and assist in the preparation of invoices for legal services rendered.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all legal projects comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including maintaining calendars, handling correspondence,
and managing office supplies.
2 - 3 years experience in a Paralegal Project Administrator role
R 18 000 - R 22 000 ctc per month (depending on experience)
