Group Financial Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Manager to join their team in Pretoria, Hazelwood. This role is ideal for a dynamic and driven individual who will play a key role in managing all group reporting, consolidating results, and ensuring the financial well-being of the group's investment companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full ownership of group reporting and consolidation of group results.
- Overseeing the financial management of several small investment companies.
- Reporting directly to the CFO and supporting central finance functions.
- Managing tax calculations and returns for all group companies.
- Overseeing the team handling creditors, debtors, and banking:
- 3 clerks in the Creditors team.
- 1 clerk managing Debtors.
- 1 clerk managing the Bank.
- Working closely with a Financial Accountant who will assist with the Trial Balances (TBs) and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
Requirements:
- CA (SA) qualification.
- 5 -10 years of relevant experience, with a focus on group reporting and consolidations.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in overseeing a finance team.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to work from the office with flexibility but maintaining a regular in-office presence is essential.
