Minimum Requirements: Matric/Senior Secondary Qualification (NQF4)Minimum of 3 - 5 Years experience within an Export Controller positionExperienced in all Exports (Air/Ocean/Road) processes from Collection to InvoicingManagement of complete Client File will be advantageousMinimum of 3 Years experience in a Freight Forwarding Operational Environment (Air & Ocean Freight)Fully computer literate in all MS Office Suite ApplicationsPrevious working experience on Cargo Wise will be advantageous Valid Drivers and Own vehicle (advantageous but not a pre-requisite) Key Performance Areas will include but not be limited to: Monitor,
control shipments from supplier consigneePlan freight movement of export cargoEnsure clear communication between customers, agents, and service providersCoordinate the freight movement and customs clearanceCost freight movement and prepare estimates, arrange insurance cover, and process claimsMonitor cargo tracing and track& trace all shipments to destinationResponsible for registering and updating of all filesCosting Sheets: ensure debtors files are submitted for invoicingFraming customs compliant export entriesEnsure timeous and correct capturing of information, split documentation, and invoiceEnsure booking of Cargo, monitoring loading dates and keep clients update and informedResponsible for all preparation of export documentationExpedite clearance of outbound shipmentsEnsure that all paperwork is correctly completed and documentedGenerate export documentationComplete registration of export filesProcessing and submission of documentation - export Bills of EntryFraming customs compliant export queriesEnsure that all tariff headings are correctly appliedProcess administration related to the shipment fileEffect creditors disbursements and process debtors invoicesComply with the requirements of the quality management system In return this opportunity will offer: Monthly Cost to Company Salary (negotiable depending on experience and proven track record)Company contribution towards Pension & Medical AidPermanent employment opportunitySupportive Management
