Introduction
My client in the Manufacturing industry is urgently looking for a Financial Accountant to join the organisation reporting to the Financial Director
This position is a very urgent role and requires someone that is available to start immediately (It is a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract). If you have completed Articles, have at least 2 Year post Articles experience and you are available to start immediately then this role is for you
Duties & Responsibilities
Job description:
- Preparing of the financial statements
- Overseeing the Creditors, Debtors, Cashbook, General Ledger etc
- Liaising with the Auditors
- Year-end Audits
- Overseeing Reconciliations
- Prepare and submit monthly VAT
- Assist with the Budgets and forecasts
- Fixed Assets
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications required:
- BCom Accounting Degree
- Completed Articles from a Small to Medium Audit Firm
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum requirements are having completed Articles (if you have not completed Articles your CV will not be considered)
- 2 - 4 Years Post Articles experience
- Must be available to start immediately as this is a 6 Month fixed term contract
- Industry experience: Manufacturing, FMCG, Distribution and Logistics etc
- Attention to detail
- Good organisation skills
Package & Remuneration
R 50 000 per month
