Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
Our client is in search of a competent foreclosure attorney with experience managing the foreclosure department independently. This position may involve high caseloads and tight deadlines and as such, a suitably competent individual is required.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of 4-5 employees in the foreclosure department.
- Moving the firm up the ranks of the Standard Bank Panel to the top 8 and maintaining this.
- Interfacing with clients as required and ensuring clear communication, timely updates,
and alignment with their legal goals throughout the process.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
- LLB Degree.
- Min 3 years of experience post-admission.
- Min 3 years of experience as a foreclosure attorney
Skills
The successful candidate must have the following skills:
- Experience in foreclosure, real estate law, or related fields - min 3 years of experience is preferred.
- Legal Research: Ability to stay updated on relevant foreclosure and real estate laws.
- Negotiation: Skilled in negotiating favourable settlements or agreements for clients.
- Litigation: Experience in courtroom proceedings, filing motions, and advocating for clients in foreclosure matters.
- Detail-Oriented: Thorough in document review and compliance with procedural rules.
- Client Management: Ability to work closely with clients, providing clear advice and support throughout the foreclosure process.
Package & Remuneration
Salary / Package
R25 000 - R40 000 CTC per month (commensurate with experience)
