Duties & Responsibilities
Our well established leading FMCG wholesale client, based in Morningside is seeking a dynamic hands-on Commercial Manager to join their group of companies
The Commercial Manager will be a senior member of their team, enjoying a flat company structure and interacting directly with the owners of the company.
Qualifications:
- BCompt/Honours + Articles or
- CA (SA) or
- Process engineer + MBA with strong accounting/systems exposure
- CIMA/Equivalent
Experience:
- 10 years of Financial Manager/Director experience or equivalent
- Strong systems analysis and implementations
- Strong IT/relational database and report writing
- Involved in change management
- Strong project implementation
Required attributes:
- Had experience in a middle-size enterprise which is non corporate
- Highly organised and deadline driven.
- Must have a commercial approach to executing all functions.
- Must be able to confidently interact with the directors in managing all financial and reporting aspects of the business.
- Looking for a very hands-on type of person who is looking to work in a professional informal environment.
- Must be able to work on their own and be able to deal with the demands of a fast- changing environment.
- Good communication skills, highly valuing long-term relationships with staff, customers and suppliers
