Introduction

Our client in Pinetown is seeking to employ an Audit Senior to join their team and train SAICA Clerks

Duties & Responsibilities

- Perform various assurance and non-assurance engagements (including, but not
- limited to: External audits of financial statements, agreed upon procedures,
- independent reviews, compilations).
- Perform administrative tasks (including, but not limited to: Timesheets, record of
- hours, work in progress updates)
- Travel to clients in and around the Durban and greater Durban area.
- Ad hoc tax and accounting tasks
- Supervision of audit teams and SAICA trainees
- Training and assisting SAICA trainees
- Client liaison

Desired Experience & Qualification






- Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (must be a SAICA accredited degree) – 3-year
- article term
- Completed SAICA articles
- Fully experienced with Caseware (including, but not limited to drafting AFS on
- Caseware, preparing planning, execution and finalisation working papers on
- Caseware)
- Fully experienced in the FULL audit process, from planning of the audit, to execution,
- finalization and drafting of AFS
- Must be able to perform the full audit process for complex entities (not listed
- companies and no group financial statement audits)
- Experience in managing an audit team
- Experience in managing multiple engagements at the same time.
- Able to manage client and firm expectations with little intervention from
- management
- Own vehicle and able to drive to clients

Package & Remuneration

R 15 000 to R 18 000 depending on experience
