Our client, a leading property management and real estate firm dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions in the property industry are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented candidate to join their finance team as an Accountant.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting their financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly statements and reports.
Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and other financial records.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
Provide support during audits and financial reviews.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting (BCom Accounting)Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding and experience with MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a busy working environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance and/or the property industry is a plus.
