Demi Chef De Partie Pastry Cruise Ships Key Responsibilities: Assist the Pastry Chef in creating and developing new pastry and dessert recipes Prepare and produce a variety of pastries desserts and bread for our guests Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to company standards Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and other members of the culinary team Collaborate with other departments such as the dining room and galley to ensure smooth and efficient service Actively participate in menu planning and development Assist with ordering and receiving of pastry supplies and ingredients Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety and security protocols. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef De Partie Pastry in a highvolume fine dining establishment Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry and baking Strong knowledge of pastry techniques ingredients and equipment Ability to work in a fastpaced and highpressure environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed Fluent in English additional languages are a plus.
