We are seeking a Junior Consulting Accountant with a BCom degree and 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. This is a dynamic, client-facing role offering hands-on accounting responsibilities and regular travel.
Position: Junior Consulting Accountant
Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg
Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 per month
Travel: 2 times a month (within South Africa)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a full-function accountant , managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and overseeing tax compliance.
- Provide consulting services to clients, offering expert advice on accounting practices and financial strategies.
- Prepare and present financial statements to clients,
ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Assist clients in budgeting, forecasting , and financial planning.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring all their accounting needs are met and providing proactive solutions.
- Travel twice a month to meet with clients and offer on-site support.
Requirements:
- BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2-4 years of accounting experience , preferably in a client-facing or consulting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel twice a month to client sites.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
