Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests, diagnose issues, and perform maintenance on solar thermal, HVAC, and related equipment.
- Conduct inspections, perform repairs and replacements, and adhere to preventive maintenance schedules.
- Document work activities, provide technical support to clients, collaborate with other departments, and ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain service vehicle, tools, and equipment, and assist with installation projects as needed.
Requirements
Requirements
- National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (advantage: technical certification in solar thermal/HVAC systems).
- Proven experience as a Service Technician in solar thermal/HVAC maintenance.
- Valid driver's license,
strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with hydraulics, plumbing, and electrical systems used in hot water generation/space conditioning.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety/quality, ability to work independently and in a team.
