As the Credit Controller, you will be responsible for the below:
- Make at least 32 customer contacts daily through phone or electronic communication.
- Visit customers regularly to build relationships and prevent issues.
- Achieve 100% of the monthly collection targets.
- Investigate, log, and resolve queries on outstanding accounts, then provide customer feedback.
- Analyze overdue accounts to highlight areas for improvement.
- Report regularly on problem accounts and escalate issues to the Credit Manager as needed.
- Process and allocate all payments received based on bank statements and remittance advice.
- Prepare journals with supporting documentation.
- Maintain proper filing and handle other administrative tasks.
- Minimize bad debt and maximize collections.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed Diploma in Accounting and related field.
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role in finance.
