Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including processing transactions, reconciling accounts etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities: Transaction Processing: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Process vendor invoices, employee expense reports, and customer payments. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in account balances. F ompliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards,
company policies, and regulatory requirements. Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees. Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax and labor laws. Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Implement and maintain a systematic filing system for financial documents. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping experience. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Certification in bookkeeping (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper, CPB).
