Duties and Responsibilities:
- Valuation and Pricing:
Assist in the valuation of insurance products and contribute to pricing strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze actuarial data and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
- Prophet Modelling: Utilize Prophet software to model various scenarios and assess risk factors.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior actuaries and cross-functional teams to develop and implement actuarial strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all actuarial work complies with industry regulations and company standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends and developments, enhancing your professional skills.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in the life insurance or short-term insurance sector (life insurance preferred).
- Exams: Minimum of 6 actuarial exams passed, showcasing your commitment to the profession.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Honors degree is an advantage.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Prophet software is preferred; experience in valuations or pricing is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
