Job Title: (Intern - Junior )Android Developer
Location: Milnerton, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa
Term: Permanent Position – In-office Position (9 AM to 6 PM)

Our team is dedicated to innovation and excellence, and we are currently seeking a talented Intermediate Android Developer to enhance our capabilities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
Integrate with various APIs and backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Advantageous Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Firebase, AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles.
Experience in working with hardware integration is advantageous.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology, or a related field.
2 years of experience in Android application development.
Experience in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Android experience in Android Studio
Basic understanding of Android SDK, design patterns, and best practices.
Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
