A retailer is looking for a Regional Sales and Operations Manager for the Tshwane region. The role involves overseeing the operational side of the business, including managing Branch/Store Managers and driving sales for the region. The position requires a minimum of one week per month of travel to other regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve and surpass corporate objectives.
- Lead and manage the regional sales team, ensuring the maximization of revenue and consistent goal attainment.
- Provide accurate forecasting of annual, quarterly,





and monthly sales targets to support strategic planning.
- Oversee and mentor a high-performing sales team, focusing on continuous growth and achievement.
- Facilitate training initiatives through strategic presentations, seminars, and regular meetings to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Analyze regional expenses and propose effective improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and sustained business growth.
- Support Branch and Store Managers with daily operational oversight, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct audits to assess stores' administrative processes and compliance with corporate standards.
- Monitor and evaluate store managers' performance in relation to key performance indicators (KPIs), providing guidance for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven track record in sales, specifically within the retail sector.
- Experience in book or stationery sales will be highly advantageous.






- Must possess reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the designated region.
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years’ management experience in sales and operations is required.
